The Learning From Normal Work Implementation Journey offers a step-by-step framework to ensure a smooth integration in your organisation.
We begin by fully aligning company- and site-level operators, followed by developing facilitators/champions who will lead learning reviews and coach others, and ending with an integration with existing processes.

The key three objectives are:
1. Provide an introduction to HoP and Learning from Normal Work.

MINDSET SHIFTER (8H)

FOR: Site/Project leaders who will be responsible for the implementation of proactive learning.
The “Mindset Shifter” course on Learning from Normal Work provides an introduction to the concepts, skills, and tools you need to make Learning from Normal Work happen in your organisation.
This introductory course, fully aligned with the IOGP 642 Industry Guide, is designed for safety, quality and operations leaders who will be implementing proactive learning in their locations. The course helps you you begin your transformation journey from reactive learning, to going beyond zero and on the path to improving safety and efficiency by leveraging modern industrial psychology combined with verified industry practices.

FACILITATOR TRAINING

FOR: Individuals who will be facilitating learning through e.g. learning teams.
A two-day long workshop for HSE and operations professionals who will lead and execute the learning efforts, such as learning teams or walk through talk throughs.
Day 1 covers an introduction to key concepts of Learning From Normal Work, examples, and case studies.
Day 2 focuses on building questioning skills, facilitation skills, scenario reviews, and simulations.
Once complete, attendees will apply the tools and techniques they’ve learned by conducting reviews on one simple activity and one complex activity including interdependent teams.

MASTERY COACHING

FOR: Learning facilitators
Coaching, feedback and support for the leaders and facilitators involved in performing learning reviews.
The course includes reviewing the outcomes of learning teams, walk through talk throughs or other tools, and providing feedback on how to improve and get more value from learning reviews.

LFNW COMPETENCY
PATHWAY

FOR: Champions and internal coaches responsible for the implementation and coordination of proactive learning efforts.
An intensive, yet flexible, 6-month, self-paced program with ongoing support from Dr Marcin Nazaruk for safety, quality and operational professionals responsible for the implementation of proactive learning. Also delivered as 5-day intensive classroom course followed by implementation coaching.
The aim of the Pathway is to develop a comprehensive combination of knowledge and skills in 12 different areas, enabling the participants to fully support the business efforts and drive safety transformation from within.
PHASE 3 – COMPANY ENABLER PROGRAM
Learning From Normal Work is designed to fully integrate with your existing safety processes and make them evermore effective, including areas like Risk Assessment, Incident Investigations, Leadership Conversations and more.
